We are deeply saddened to share news of the passing of our founder Paul Costelloe. He died peacefully surrounded by his wife and seven children in London. Paul was working until the very end, guiding his team on his next collections and working with his partners to deliver on his bold and unique vision.
For more than 40 years, Paul was a champion of effortless style, texture, quality materials, and the artistry of the atelier. Every garment and accessory reflected his belief that great design should make people look and feel their very best.
The global outpouring of messages, memories and stories has been overwhelming. These have been a great source of strength and are testament to Paul’s charisma, generosity and insatiable curiosity – qualities that carried him from Dublin and Belfast to Paris, Milan, New York and London.
The Costelloe family and team are committed to honouring Paul’s legacy, nurturing the unique bond between Irish and British fashion, and creating collections that sit at the forefront of fashion innovation and excellence for years to come.
Paul’s funeral and burial will take place privately in Dublin and will be attended by friends and family.
In lieu of flowers, we would be grateful if you could make a donation to Paul’s favourite charity, Jack and Jill Children’s Charity.
